Check her site for bio, schedule, photos, etc. Besides her own great music, she has done excellent work recording, engineering, and even co-producing recent CD's for both CASE & DAVIDSON and DAVE FEDER, as well as others. Live sound for several festivals too. Case & Davidson. Still growing and creatively fun after nine straight seasons at the Lorelei in Islamorada. Nobody but these guys could make a song about fishing so excitingly lyrical and original. There are several great CD's of their originals, and also a great live CD of cover tunes recorded and engineered live at The Lorelei by Robyn Fear. Dave Feder when solo, plays exceptional classical and flamingo influenced guitar originals...and with band aka The Saltwater Blues Band which doesn't mean there aren't some hot jazz tunes too. Dave also has some excellent CD's available that can be sampled on his site. Nathan Whitt, son of long time Key West favorite music maker, Clark Whitt; has wowed Key West audiences for several years, as well as those nation wide. (Even Schooner Wharf canine sing alongs... at left) The Nathan Witt Band. is always a good time, be sure to check them out next time they are in Key West or where ever you and they may be. A Y E (pronounced I-Yay) spent several years in Key West and went into northern exile in the Boston area for the past few years...they are missed. These are two remarkably talented women who harmonize in amazing ways, have much outstanding original material, which is out on CD. Check out their site which features Real Audio clips of several songs. Lenore Troia a staple of the Key West music scene and sunsets for more than seven years, is a delight to tourists and locals alike with uniquely her own brand of "Island" music. With three CD's of original music, and this year a Christmas album including the uniquely Lenore original title cut Mistletoe Island Magic there is much to be enjoyed. Check out the site, and sample her music. Cathy Grier spent many years in Key West, even writing music about it in MY LITTLE TOWN on her SOLO album. Away to Europe and New York City the last few years, she does get back here now and then. Her music covers a large area of Folk and Blues, though many Pop, Funk, Reggae, Jazz, and even Cajun influences can be found as well. Check out her site and hear her music. Gigi DeNisco is a quite talented singer/songwriter and musician who often plays the upper Keys, and has opened for a number of major acts like Willie Nelson, Stevie Nicks and Boz Scaggs in her career. XS Magazine in Ft. Lauderdale has said of her "DeNisco's enthusiastic delivery, appealing stage presence, powerful guitar playing and well-crafted songs have earned many local fans." That's no exaggeration. Check out her site and music. Schedule info is there as well. The Lady 'A' Blues Band is another band very much worth checking out when in the upper Keys and now frequently here in the lower Keys. Great vocals, and she can blow a mean harmonica. Her guitarist/partner is not called by many, EC Jr. for superfluous reasons either. This site is fully wired for sound, and you can find some great samples of their music to wet your appetite. Be sure to check out WIMS (Women's Independent Music Show) which features the finest in women's music from So. FL and around the country Sunday nights at 10pm Live via streaming audio, and available on demand all week, is hosted by Diane Ward one of So. Florida's premiere musician/songwriters herself , it is very worthwhile time spent. Candye Kane is a big woman with a big heart, and big talent. Her original music, is both energizing, and fun. A person safe to say, like no other. Her shows the last few years at the Green Parrot, are SRO, and the sidewalks outside are usual jammed too. Unfortunately she only gets to Key West once a year, but her 4 soon to be 5 CD's help tide us over. Check out her site, music and watch for her appearing near you.
